Car Crash Causes Serious Damage to the Shelter

At ~12:30 am on September 10th, 2020 a car driving excessive speeds North on DuPont St. lost control at the bend in the road. It drifted through the Phi Delts’ lawn sideways, up the hill and hit the South West corner of the Delt house blowing out a significant section of the structural brick wall.

Fortunately nobody was killed in the incident, but a member was sleeping in the room (Epsilon) against the wall that was hit and suffered a minor concussion.

Initial estimate is that the vehicle hit the house doing at least 60 MPH. The red circle below is where it is believed the rear passenger wheel hit while airborn.
