“Gamma Mu Tau” is the name of the house corporation for the Kettering Delts. The not-for-profit organization is separate and distinct from the two local fraternity chapters of Delta Tau Delta known as Epsilon Iota A and Epsilon Iota B. The house corporation owns and protects the shelter and other assets on behalf of the local chapters.
Fortunately the original mortgage was paid off years ago, but a small portion of the house bill goes toward maintenance and repairs. Some projects are hired out, while other projects are assisted with labor by our undergraduate members.
Beyond ongoing maintenance, Gamma Mu Tau has been putting away money for the past forty years into a “Strategic Fund”. The organization is actively considering options such as building a new shelter or a major renovation of the current shelter.
